Hahn Loeser’s San Diego office serves the needs of our individual and business clients in California and throughout the West Coast. Our California presence continues to expand with the addition of trusted advisors who carry on the firm’s reputation for excellence, commitment to client service and dedication to the community.
As a full-service firm, we have extensive resources both in experience and personnel to approach our clients’ legal challenges with a comprehensive yet individualized plan of action. We begin client relationships with concentrated efforts to gain an in-depth understanding of a client’s legal and business needs. We then leverage that understanding to create an ideal team selected from our firm’s talented attorneys who have broad expertise across a wide range of legal areas. Working together, we develop an effective strategy in concert with our clients to guide them toward a full resolution of their legal concerns.
We welcome opportunities to assist our clients across a diverse range of challenging matters. We offer clients core strength in business, labor and employment, construction, creditors rights, intellectual property and trusts and estates and we are proud of the results we have helped our clients achieve.
Our San Diego litigation team is proud to be ranked among the top tier of General Commercial Litigation practices in San Diego in Chambers USA 2021, one of the nation’s most widely used legal services rankings guide. Our attorneys have built an impressive record of accomplishments in complex commercial and business litigation, class action, real estate and title insurance litigation, defense of consumer litigation, trade secret and non-compete litigation, employment litigation, wage and hour claims, probate and trust litigation, estate planning and trust administration.
We also counsel clients through the complexities of California’s labor and employment laws and represent business clients in compliance with the ADA, FMLA, CFRA, WARN and mini-WARN, ADEA, Older Worker Benefits Protections Act, Uniform Trade Secret Act, and the EEOC, DLSE, and NLRB enforcement manuals. We take pride in our specialized knowledge of issues unique to California, such as California’s labor and employment laws, California’s Proposition 65, Unfair Competition Law, Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and the California Consumer Privacy Act. Our trusts and estates group focuses on estate planning, wealth transfer and preservation, business succession planning, trust administration, probate, and probate litigation for both fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
Established in Cleveland in 1920, the founding attorneys of Hahn Loeser set their roots deep into the bedrock of the Midwestern values and uncompromising dedication to client service. Over the years, these roots have spread from coast to coast, expanding our services while never losing sight of our firm’s original commitment to character and integrity.
Here in San Diego, we remained faithful to these commitments as we created our office’s entrepreneurial spirit and team-based strategies, which have proven successful in providing our clients the best possible results. Team strategies for complex problems focus on discovering creative yet pragmatic solutions derived from our extensive knowledge of California law and customized to an individual client’s needs.
As we deepen our roots in San Diego, we remain true to our foremost tradition forged 100 years ago in Cleveland: Our people and the people they serve represent the foundation of Hahn Loeser.
One of the hallmarks of our Firm and San Diego office is our strong ties to the communities we serve. Our highly regarded attorneys and dedicated staff contribute time and effort to numerous philanthropic and community organizations. Members of our firm serve as executives, board members and volunteers of multiple organizations, such as Promises2Kids, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, San Diego Bar Foundation, Legal Aid Society of San Diego, La Jolla Bar Association, and Feeding America. When attorneys in Hahn Loeser’s San Diego office are not representing their clients in the courtroom, they are likely working to improve the lives of others in our community.
