Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Kimberly M. Foster has joined its San Diego office in an Of Counsel position in the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. Foster focuses on strategic compliance with workplace laws for California employers of all sizes and backgrounds.
“We are very excited about the advancement of our Labor and Employment team with Kimberly on board,” remarked San Diego Partner-in-Charge Michael J. Gleason. “Our San Diego office has been growing in multiple areas and Kimberly’s experience continues to build our profile.”
For nearly 20 years, Foster has represented employers in a variety of workplace disputes and has advised them on compliance through employee handbook and policy reviews, and advice with respect to leaves of absence, the interactive process, and wages and obligations owed under the California Labor Code. She also facilitates arbitration and severance agreements and weighs in on employee relation matters, including performance management, separations and conducts workplace investigations.
In four consecutive years, Foster earned Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars recognition. Since 2022, she has been a certificate holder and member of the Association of Workplace Investigators. Foster is also a California Lawyers Association Labor & Employment member and has held numerous leadership roles with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
Foster earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she was Vice President of the Women’s Law Association. She earned her B.A. from Thurgood Marshall College in 2001. Foster is admitted to practice in the State of California, as well as U.S. District Court for both the Central and Southern Districts of California.
