Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce the addition of John D. Drdek, who joined the San Diego office as an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation practice area. Drdek’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation disputes.
“We are very excited to welcome John to the firm,” remarked Michael J. Gleason Partner-in-Charge of Hahn Loeser’s San Diego office. “His unique set of skills and experience adds a new element of depth to our commercial litigation team.”
Drdek has handled a broad range of high-stakes cases, including multi-million dollar contract disputes, labor and employment issues, and class action lawsuits. He plays an integral role in all stages of the litigation process, from fighting complaints and managing discovery issues, to arguing substantive motions and advocating at trial.
Drdek was honored in 2021 with an award for significant commitment to pro bono work and successfully launching a veterans pro bono initiative that established partnerships with the Veterans Legal Institute, California Veterans Legal Task Force, and the Veterans Legal Clinic at the University of San Diego School of Law.
Along with the state of California, Drdek is admitted to practice in the Southern, Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of California. He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he earned the Judge Thelton E. Henderson Prize for Academic Excellence.
Prior to attending Stanford Law School, Drdek graduated from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California and was a successful Hollywood producer and writer.
A San Diego native, Drdek also serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He deployed with Special Operations Joint Task Force to Afghanistan in 2012.
