Two New Associates Join Hahn Loeser’s Cleveland Office

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Ethan J. Peters and Andrew Y. Schiefer have joined the Cleveland office as associates.

Peters focuses his practice on a wide range of intellectual property issues and works closely with clients on acquisition, utilization and enforcement. Peters is experienced in researching patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright matters. Peters also drafts patent and trademark clearance opinions, prepares and prosecutes patent, trademark and copyright applications along with managing intellectual property portfolios.

Peters received his J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Akron School of Law in 2019, where he was on the Dean’s List, Assistant Editor for the Akron Law Review andrecipient of the Henry C. Young Jr. Intellectual Property Law Scholarship. He received his M.S. in Engineering Management from The University of Wisconsin, Platteville in 2015 and his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, in 2011. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Schiefer dedicates his practice to complex commercial, construction and real estate litigation. Schiefer is experienced in working on matters involving commercial lease disputes, real-property and zoning disputes, and breach of contract claims. Additionally, he drafts settlement agreements, court pleadings, motions, discovery responses and conducts document review, research and writing on a variety of laws from several different states.

Schiefer received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University of Law in 2019, where he was the Executive Copy Editor of  the Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine. He was also honored as the Outstanding Note of the Year Award Recipient for 2018. He received his B.S. in Biology from Arizona State University in 2015. He is admitted to practice in Ohio.
