Rachel E. Kolecky

A partner in Hahn Loeser’s Labor & Employment practice group, Rachel E. Kolecky focuses her practice on trucking and transportation law, advising national clients with respect to the many issues that arise in transportation and logistics including those related to the Carmack Amendment, contracts, and negligence. As a trusted advisor, Rachel guides clients through legal issues that may arise during the employment relationship, from hiring through termination.

Rachel counsels clients on employment-related matters, drafts employment agreements and policies, and conducts training on employment matters. Her diverse background includes a wealth of civil litigation experience to her practice, formerly counseling individuals and insurance companies through personal injury litigation and has tried numerous cases to jury trial. Rachel has a proven track record of negotiating hundreds of favorable settlements for her clients, as well as received defense and favorable verdicts in civil jury trials.

Prior to her civil litigation practice, Rachel previously served as an assistant prosecutor in a municipal court.
