Primary Practices

Jacqueline A. Meese-Martinez is an associate the firm’s Litigation Practice Area, and her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Jacqueline provides creative and solution-focused representation to corporate clients in a wide range of industries, from health insurance to technology manufacturing. She handles all stages of litigation, including investigating claims, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery. Jacqueline excels at crafting dispositive motions and has track record of translating complex legal issues into winning briefs.

Jacqueline also has robust appellate experience. Prior to joining Hahn Loeser, Jacqueline was an appellate public defender and represented indigent clients in direct and collateral appeals of criminal convictions. In that position, Jacqueline argued nearly 20 appeals before the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department, and conducted multiple hearings in the state trial courts. Several of Jacqueline’s successful appeals were featured in the media and in criminal procedure treatises. Jacqueline also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jenny Rivera of the New York Court of Appeals—the highest court in New York state—where she assisted the judge with resolving both civil and criminal issues of state-wide importance.
