Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP welcomes Nathan D. Scurtu to its Chicago office as an associate in its Trusts & Estates Practice Group. Scurtu will focus on estate planning, business succession planning, guardianships, trust and probate administration, and real estate transactions.

Serving as an attorney in Chicago since 2018, Scurtu has represented and advised clients with a broad range of transactional matters including but not limited to estate planning and administration, real estate transactions, construction agreements, mergers and acquisitions, business formation, compliance and governance, business and commercial transactions, and general contract matters. He has counseled clients in a wide spectrum of industries including hospitality, entertainment, retail, construction, manufacturing, transportation, e-commerce, and more.
Scurtu is an active member of five bar associations (Illinois, Chicago, DuPage County, American, Romanian).
Scurtu earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2018, where he received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in International Law. He received a B.A. in philosophy from Loyola University Chicago in 2015.
