In honor of the 26th annual National Women in Construction Week (March 3-9, 2024), Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is supporting the future of women in construction by making a donation to ACE Mentor Program Cleveland. The donation funds a scholarship awarded to a female who will further her education in the construction field.

“The growth of women here in our practice group and throughout the entire construction industry has been an accomplishment worth celebrating,” remarked Hahn Loeser Construction Practice Group manager Lori K. Christensen. “From spreading awareness to providing opportunities to local students through programs like ACE, we’re always looking for ways to support the continued advancement of women in construction.”

Since 1998, Women in Construction Week has expanded each year, celebrating and promoting the role of women throughout the construction industry. Many local chapters hold WIC events, including presentations, job site tours, luncheons and virtual events. This year’s theme, ‘Keys to the Future’, celebrates the strength and knowledge of women and the vital role they play in shaping the future of the construction industry.

HLP’s celebration of National Women in Construction Week continues its long and proud history of inclusion since its founding in 1920. Along with Christensen, women in the practice group include attorneys Alexa R. Civittolo, Kate M. Grady, Christina T. Hassel, Ann E. Knuth, Sonja C. Rice, Tara J. Rose, Samantha L. Shamhart, Kelsey L. Smith and Phoebe S. Wise, along with paralegals Abigail R. Chenoweth and Shannon N. Paul.

ACE Mentor Program helps high school students prepare for careers in architecture, engineering, and construction, supporting their continued advancement through education and mentorship. Hahn Loeser has been a proud supporter of ACE and its Cleveland chapter, where partner Aaron Evenchik serves on its board of directors.
