Alexa R. Civittolo is an Associate in Hahn Loeser’s Cleveland office and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Construction practice areas. She represents clients in complex commercial litigation and probate litigation matters, drawing on experience in legal research, analysis, drafting, and case development. Alexa also works with the firm’s manufacturing team.
Her practice is shaped by prior experience in both the federal judiciary and in-house legal settings, giving her a practical perspective on dispute resolution, litigation strategy, and the legal issues that arise in business-focused matters.
Before joining Hahn Loeser, Alexa served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Kimberly Jolson of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, where she gained exposure to federal court proceedings, legal research, motion practice, and judicial decision-making. She also served as a Legal Extern for the CareSource Office of the General Counsel, gaining valuable in-house legal experience and insight into the legal and operational considerations facing organizations.
Alexa earned her J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she was recognized for academic achievement and service. She earned a CALI Award for Excellence in Human Rights Law, received Dean’s Special Recognition as a Public Service Fellow, served as a Legal Writing Fellow, and held editorial roles with the Ohio State Law Journal, including receiving the Outstanding Online Editor Award. Alexa earned her B.A. in political science and global studies from Seton Hill University.
