Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Cynthia K. Port has joined as Of Counsel in the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice area and Katie L. Steiner has joined the firm as an Associate in the firm’s Business Practice area.

Port concentrates her practice on estate planning and probate law. She has experience assisting individuals in developing complex estate and corporate succession plans, representing fiduciaries in connection with estate and trust administration and taxation and drafting a wide variety of trust documents. Port is currently a Trustee for the Beachwood Schools Foundation. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia and Ohio.
Before arriving at Hahn Loeser, Port was Senior Counsel at Calfee, Halter & Griswold and a Special Projects Manager at RomanSearch, Inc., she received her J.D. magna cum laude from Washington College of Law at American University, Washington D.C., and her B.A. from the University of Maryland.
Steiner will focus her legal practice on serving non-profit clients, especially museums and collectors. During her two years of private practice, her concentration was litigation, with an emphasis on Intellectual Property litigation and trademark-enforcement work. She is currently Vice Chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts committee and a volunteer for College Now.
Prior to joining Hahn Loeser, Steiner was an associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease. She received her B.A. in Art History and English, summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University and an M.A in Art History from Williams College. She then spent six years working in New York in research and curatorial positions with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Frick Collection. She received her J.D. cum laude from Case Western Reserve School of Law, where she served as the editor-in-chief of the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law.
