Jacob Hailperin‑Lausch represents businesses of all sizes, using creative, practical strategies to solve clients’ toughest challenges. A pragmatic advisor and counselor, Jacob handles matters involving business operations, construction, real estate, telecommunications, private equity, and corporate transactions, and has represented clients in related litigation in both state and federal courts. His broad experience allows him to guide companies through every stage of their lifecycle—from early‑stage startups to mature businesses preparing for an exit—and through every step of a deal, from the letter of intent to closing or, when necessary, through litigation and appeal.

Jacob’s passion is real estate and construction law, which he approaches as a holistic, full‑cycle practice. He represents clients across all phases of development, including site acquisition, due diligence, land use and zoning, construction, financing, leasing, and disposition. His experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase agreements, leases, easements, loan documents, and other key transactional instruments. During a transaction or development project, Jacob takes ownership of the process—coordinating stakeholders, consultants, and vendors; managing timelines; and ensuring that surveys, title commitments, environmental reports, and regulatory reviews move forward without delay.

Jacob is known for being highly responsive, believing that timely communication is essential to effective representation. He prioritizes keeping clients informed, engaged, and confident at every stage of a matter.

An Indianapolis native, Jacob received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University and his B.A. from the College of Wooster.
