Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer J. Kirby has joined the firm as an associate in its San Diego office. Kirby represents businesses, individuals, and insurers in complex litigation, dispute resolution, and risk-sensitive legal matters.
“We are delighted to welcome Jennifer to our Litigation team,” said San Diego Partner-in-Charge Jim Heffner. “She brings a combination of courtroom experience and in-house business perspective that will be a tremendous asset to our clients.”
Kirby is experienced in all phases of litigation, including arguing substantive and dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, representing clients in mediations and settlement negotiations, and preparing cases for trial. Her in-house background includes advising executive leadership and cross-functional business teams on enterprise risk management, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, employment matters, and operational risk.
Kirby earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2017, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, served as Articles Editor of the UC Davis Law Review, and was a Property Law Teaching Assistant. She earned her B.S. in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012.
