Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Benjamin M. Altshul has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Chicago office. Altshul joins Hahn Loeser’s Business Practice Area and will represent clients in various commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and finance.
Altshul is well-versed in handling real estate litigation matters. He advises clients on the various aspects of commercial leases, including negotiating and drafting long-term leases for commercial tenants. He negotiates and drafts purchases and sale agreements and financing documents, and conducts due diligence and title review processes for multi-million dollar commercial properties.
In addition, Altshul is familiar with the extensive regulations that govern Illinois real estate, including the Illinois Condominium Property Act. His real estate experience spans a wide range of properties, including medical facilities, strip malls, mixed-used buildings, restaurant locations and grocery stores.
Prior to Hahn Loeser, Altshul was an associate at Rudolph Kaplan LLC where he garnered recognition as Rising Star in Illinois Super Lawyers. Altshul holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in real estate and urban land economics. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
