Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is proud to announce that Chambers High Net Worth, an annual guide identifying the world’s leading high net worth advisors in the private wealth market, ranked Hahn Loeser’s Estate Planning and Business Succession Group in Band 2 in Ohio for Private Wealth Law in its 2021 edition. Chambers HNW also gave national recognition to Stephen J. Knerly for Art and Culture Property Law, while M. Patricia Culler, Christina D. Evans and Stephen H. Gariepy earned accolades for Private Wealth Law in Ohio.

In Chambers HNW’s ratings for Private Wealth Law in Ohio, Culler was ranked in Band 1, the highest possible rating, for the sixth consecutive year. She has extensive experience in sophisticated estate planning and administration and charitable gift planning for high-net-worth clients. Culler is an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and a Fellow and Past Regent of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She has participated in numerous speaking engagements on trust and estate, tax and other related topics. In this latest edition, Chambers HNW notes that Culler “is very intelligent and has good substantive knowledge,” according to a source, who states that “Patty is top-notch in every way.”
Evans was ranked by Chambers HNW for the fourth straight year, earning a spot in Band 3. She serves as Hahn Loeser’s Cleveland office Chair of the Estate Planning, Wealth Transfer & Preservation and Business Succession Group. Evans is an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law and a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She handles all aspects of estate planning and estate and trust administration. Interviewees in the Chambers HNW survey enthusiastically noted that Evans “tries to personalize things and work with people to really get to know them. She is a very hard worker and is very responsive.” Another market insider states that Evans is “very highly regarded and active at the state Bar level.”
Gariepy was also ranked by Chambers HNW for the fourth consecutive year, earning Band 2 status. He chairs Hahn Loeser’s National Estate Planning and Business Succession Group. Gariepy is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and was the first to receive The Best Lawyers in America® Lawyer of the Year Award for Cleveland Trusts and Estates. He focuses his practice on leading-edge estate planning techniques. Gariepy is described by one Chambers HNW source as “definitely top-drawer.” Another market insider stated that he is, “a fine lawyer and very skilled.”
This year was the first for Chambers HNW’s national Art and Culture Property Law rankings, where Knerly was one of only 30 attorneys in the nation recognized. He serves as Co-Chair of the Firm’s Non-Profit Institutions section and focuses on matters involving art transactions and nonprofit corporate law. Knerly has represented museums, foundations, trusts and collectors in the acquisition, disposition, lending and borrowing of and estate planning for works of art.
