Jacob Hailperin-Lausch represents businesses large and small, using out-of-the-box solutions to solve clients’ toughest issues. A pragmatic advisor and counselor, Jacob represents clients in a variety of matters involving business issues, construction, real estate, telecommunications, private equity, and corporate transactions, and has handled related litigation before state and federal courts. Jacob’s broad experience helps him represent businesses in a stages from start ups to mature companies looking for an exit and from the letter of intent to closing or through litigation and appeals.

Jacob’s passion is real estate law. He brings extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions. His experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase agreements, leases, easements, loan agreements, and other ancillary real estate documents. During a real estate transaction Jacob takes responsibility for managing the project and making sure that different stake holders and vendors are actively engaged and not stalling the deal. This includes managing the project pipeline of surveys, title commitments, environmental reports, land use, and zoning regulations/compliance.

An Indianapolis native, Jacob received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. from the College of Wooster.

Jacob and his wife have a dog and four cats. They enjoy traveling to see ancient ruins and historic sites and are big science fiction and fantasy fans.
