Katherine Clawson is an Associate in Hahn Loeser’s Cleveland office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice area, where she focuses on complex commercial disputes, including product liability actions, complex contract disputes, compliance matters, employment disputes, breach of fiduciary duty actions, fraud claims, and construction-related matters. Katie began working with Hahn Loeser in 2024 as a summer associate, working with issues regarding Title VII retaliation, consumer fraud, and appellate standard of review.

Prior to Hahn Loeser, Katie externed for a federal judge in Youngstown, Ohio and with Case Western’s Office of General Counsel. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in political science from The Ohio State University.

Katie received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she was a Legal Writing Honors Fellow, a senior editor on the Journal of Law, Technology & the Internet, and a moot court competitor. She became a certified legal intern in appellate litigation with CWRU’s Kramer Law Clinic, representing clients in criminal defense appeals in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ohio Supreme Court, where she received the Jack Cronquist Award for outstanding performance and commitment to client service.
