Hahn Loeser & Parks is hiring a Litigation Associate for its San Diego office, targeting candidates with 3 to 8 years of defense-side business litigation experience in California state and federal courts. The ideal attorney will have strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, experience managing all aspects of discovery, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines; California bar admission is required.
Key Requirements and Experience
We are looking for attorneys with proven defense-side commercial litigation experience in California state and federal courts, ideally gained at a mid-to-large size law firm. This experience should encompass one or more of the following areas:
- Business Litigation
- Probate or Fiduciary Litigation
- Real Estate Litigation
- Class Actions
Essential Qualifications:
- CA Bar Admission is required (no exceptions).
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Expertise in handling all aspects of discovery, including drafting/revising discovery, responding to, and objecting to discovery disputes.
- Excellent research, analytical, and brief writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: The expected annual salary for this position is $180,000 – $230,000. The final offer will be based on a range of factors, including experience level, education, and relevant skills. If your salary expectation is outside this range, we still encourage you to apply. Bonus: Associates are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
