This edition of HighLighting our People spotlights Kyle Overs, a litigation partner in the firm’s San Diego office .
Before moving to San Diego, Kyle lived in Buffalo, NY, North Carolina, and Arizona. Now a partner in the San Diego office, Kyle joined HLP as an associate in December of 2015.
Kyle was drawn to HLP after practicing law for a couple of years because of its steady growth, and because it has the infrastructure in place to continue to grow. He thrives in the competitive nature of commercial litigation. As he puts it, “It’s our wits against their wits.”
Outside of work, Kyle is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Bar Foundation, where he serves those needing access to legal services by raising funds and providing grants to legal aid and public interest organizations in San Diego.
He’s a huge sports fan, and has played football, basketball, and lacrosse over the years. Currently, he plays in the San Diego County Bar Association Basketball League.
Kyle’s wife is also an attorney, working for a local hospital group. We are lucky to have Kyle as part of our Chambers-ranked San Diego litigation practice.
