Building relationships comes naturally to Cheri Piglia, a paralegal in Hahn Loeser’s Naples office. It was this skill that brought her to the firm. While working at a restaurant in Naples, Cheri got to know Naples partner Andy Krause and his wife, Sue. Impressed by Cheri’s intelligence and drive, Andy suggested she consider joining Hahn Loeser, and Cheri joined the firm in June 2008.
Due to family schedules and firm needs, Cheri has served in many different roles over the years, including office services, records, legal assistant, and accounting. With the support of her colleagues at the firm, she was ultimately trained in the probate and trust administration practice and became a paralegal with the firm in January of 2013.
Cheri is grateful to have the opportunity to support clients through a very challenging time in their lives. “Settling an estate can take well over a year, so you become invested in their lives during a difficult time. It can be very emotional, and it is wonderful to help them through it and see them grow into the next phase of their life.” She feels fortunate to be a part of the tight-knit Trust and Estates Group in the Naples office where everyone works as a team; supporting each other to best serve clients.
Cheri completed the University of Florida’s Correspondence Study Program in 2003, receiving her Legal Assistant/Paralegal Certificate. Outside of work, Cheri enjoys spending time with her husband Joe and their two daughters, Madisyn and Avary.
