Two Litigation Associates Join Hahn Loeser & Parks Cleveland

Katherine E. Clawson, Sera M. Martin

Hahn Loeser & Parks formally welcomed Katherine E. Clawson and Sera M. Martin as new associate attorneys to the Cleveland office, following The Ohio Supreme Court’s recent swearing-in ceremony, admitting them to the Ohio Bar. Clawson and Martin both served as summer associates at Hahn Loeser in 2024.

Clawson’s practice will focus on complex commercial disputes, product liability actions, complex contract disputes, compliance matters, employment disputes, breach of fiduciary duty actions, fraud claims, and construction-related matters. Prior to Hahn Loeser, she externed for a federal judge in Youngstown and with Case Western’s Office of General Counsel. She was also a certified legal intern in the Sixth Circuit and Ohio Supreme Court, representing clients in the appellate litigation clinic. Clawson received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she was a Legal Writing Honors Fellow and a senior editor for the Journal of Law, Technology & the Internet.

Martin will work closely with construction litigation, real estate litigation, and commercial litigation matters. She has experience assisting individuals, small businesses, and companies on a diverse range of litigation matters. Martin externed for Judge Calabrese at the Northern District of Ohio Federal Courthouse. She was also a Certified Legal Intern with the Summit Legal Defenders, gaining valuable in-court experience practicing at Summit County Municipal Court. Martin earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law where she was president of the Federal Bar Association and the Business Law Society student chapters and a member of Akron Law’s Trial Team.
