In this article, Rocco I. Debitetto offers three pieces of advice to law students and rookie lawyers, as he approaches his 10th year in law. Rocco also touches on the need for mentoring in the legal community, especially for the young, upcoming generation of lawyers.
Rocco I. Debitetto is a partner in the Cleveland office of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, co-chair of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights, Reorganization and Bankruptcy Area, and firm-wide Legal Personnel Director. In addition to his core insolvency and restructuring practice, Rocco also provides day-to-day legal counsel to businesses in several industries, maintains a strong commercial practice, including litigation, and has developed a niche practice advising art museums, collectors, and industry associations in a variety of transactions and dealings.
