Josh Knerly presented this paper on behalf of the Association of Art Museum Directors to the Looted Art Working Group of the 2009 Holocaust Era Assets Conference. The purpose of the paper is to provide an overview of the museum response to the Principles set forth in the Washington Conference on Nazi-Confiscated Art, to identify areas that need attention, and to suggest solutions.
