Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Jeanne L. Seewald has been elected to the board of directors of the firm. Seewald practices in the areas of intellectual property, technology, general business, corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions. A Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Intellectual Property Law, Jeanne has experience working with businesses and non-profit institutions in the areas of trademark and copyright registration, trademark and domain name dispute resolution and trademark and patent licensing.

Jeanne is the past chair of the Intellectual Property Law Committee of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, and is past chair of The Florida Bar Intellectual Property Board Certification Committee. Of the 105,000 licensed attorneys in Florida, Jeanne is one of only 135 Florida attorneys that are board certified in intellectual property law.

She is listed in the 2006-16 editions of The Best Lawyers in America in the categories of Intellectual Property Law, Mergers & Acquisitions Law, Administrative/Regulatory Law, Copyright Law, and Trademark law, and the 2007-16 editions of Florida Super Lawyers. Jeanne’s community involvement includes past chair of the Intellectual Property Law Committee of The Florida Bar and is past chair of The Florida Bar Intellectual Property Law Board Certification Committee, which is tasked with designing and grading the exam for IP board certification. In addition, Jeanne has served on the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors since 2005. She also serves on the editorial boards of Gulfshore Business and eBella magazines.

Jeanne represents museums, foundations and other nonprofit institutions in a variety of intellectual property issues including, in particular, copyright issues relating to acquisitions, licensing and e-commerce.
