Mechanics’ liens are vital for ensuring payment, but preserving lien rights can be complicated. Hahn Loeser Construction Partners Tom Nocar and Jeff Yeager presented “Ohio Mechanics’ Lien Law: The Hows & Whys of the Paperwork,” at the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio (BX Education Room) on May 14. The course provided attendees with examples, information and advice on specific requirements needed to preserve company’s lien rights. Tom and Jeff explained why it’s crucial for everyone involved in the process to know the requirements under the law to secure their rights and protect their bottom line.
