John Drdek, Rachel Kolecky and Katie L. Steiner Elected to Hahn Loeser Partnership

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that John D. Drdek, Rachel E. Kolecky and Katie L. Steiner have been elected to the Firm’s Partnership, effective Jan. 1, 2026. Kolecky and Steiner are based in the Firm’s Cleveland office, while Drdek represents the San Diego office.

Drdek is member of both the Litigation and Labor & Employment Groups and serves as a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He represents employers in complex litigation, including wage-and-hour class and representative actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims, and multi-million-dollar employment disputes. From startups to Fortune 500 companies, Drdek has successfully defended clients across a range of industries. He advises employers on risk mitigation, compliance, and pre-litigation resolution of workplace disputes. Drdek earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his B.A. from the University of Southern California.

Kolecky focuses her practice on trucking and transportation law, advising national clients with respect to the many issues that arise in transportation and logistics including those related to the Carmack Amendment, contracts, and negligence. Kolecky brings a wealth of civil litigation experience to her practice, formerly counseling individuals and insurance companies through personal injury litigation and has tried numerous cases to jury trial. Kolecky previously served as an assistant prosecutor in a municipal court. She received her J.D. from The Ohio State University and a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Steiner is a member of the Nonprofit & Art Law practice group, which represents art museums and other nonprofit organizations, as well as foundations, trusts, and private collectors, on matters involving corporate governance, acquisitions, lending, borrowing, endowments, tax issues, and litigation. Specific to art museums, Steiner represents clients on Nazi-era and cultural-property claims, complex donation agreements, copyright and fair-use issues, NAGPRA and endangered-species compliance, and loan and exhibition agreements. She also supports the Restructuring, Bankruptcy, and Insolvency group. She earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, a master’s degree from Williams College, and a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
