Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Ian Pike has joined the San Diego office as an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Area. Pike represents businesses and individuals in state and federal courts in a variety of matters.
“Ian is a valuable addition that strengthens our Litigation team,” remarked San Diego Partner-in-Charge Michael J. Gleason. “We look forward to witnessing his continued growth and contributions as we navigate many complex legal challenges together.”
Pike has extensive knowledge about the law of civil procedure, particularly civil discovery under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and analogous state rules. He also has experience successfully representing clients on appeal.
Prior to joining Hahn Loeser, Pike served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Karen S. Crawford in the Southern District of California. Prior to that, he worked in a boutique firm representing clients in labor, employment, and consumer class action matters and earned Best Lawyers Ones to Watch recognition. Also a former columnist at the San Diego Reader, Pike wrote extensively on topics from food to humor to theater and the arts.
Pike earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he received CALI Awards for seven classes, won the intramural Alumni Torts Moot, received the Outstanding Clinic Intern award from the civil clinic, and delivered the student address at his commencement. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Emmanuel College.
