Hahn Loeser & Parks welcomed James M. Miller as senior counsel in its Sarasota office and Litigation Practice Area. Miller has over 45 years of litigation and trial experience and has taken more than 100 cases to verdict, judgment or award before juries, judges, and arbitrators.

Miller has represented companies and individuals across an assortment of industries such as banking and financial institutions, technology, manufacturing and product distribution, and communications. He has won jury verdicts in cases ranging from antitrust to personal injury, intellectual property, trade secrets, contracts, franchising, and licensing.
Formerly the managing partner of an AmLaw 100 firm, the largest law office in the state of Florida, Miller had supervision over 200 attorneys and served as national chair of its litigation department. He has earned an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers for 14 consecutive years.
Miller earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. from the University of Miami. He has been a contributing author for three books published by the American Bar Association and is on the Board of News Editors for the ABA’s Litigation Section.
