Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Gary D. Baker, Jr. has joined the Cleveland office as an Associate in the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Area. Baker’s focus is defending employers in connection with a variety of workplace-related disputes, helping them comply with the labor and employment laws and regulations.
“As our team continues to grow, we are very excited to about Gary’s contributions,” remarked Labor and Employment Chair Steven E. Seasly. “His experience with a variety of labor and employment challenges will help us continue delivering personalized effective solutions that meet our clients’ ever-evolving needs.”
Baker assists in labor relations matters including arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges. He helps incorporate best practices for workplace safety, compliance, background screening and labor relations. Baker’s experience with unfair labor practice includes challenges related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). He also focuses on workers’ compensation and unemployment cost management.
A Northeast Ohio native, Baker is a member of the Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. He earned his J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law, where he was a member of multiple award-winning mock trial teams. Baker received his bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University.
