Hahn Loeser Adds One Of Counsel and Four Associates Across Three Markets

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that it has added five attorneys to its ranks across three locations to expand the depth and breadth of its Litigation and Intellectual Property teams.  Hahn Loeser welcomes Jennifer A. Brown (Naples), who has joined the firm as Of Counsel and Alayna K. Bridgett (Cleveland), Caroline Hamilton (Cleveland), Patrick J. Mardula (Chicago) and Rashmi D. Shivnani (Chicago) have joined the firm as Associates.

Brown has joined the Litigation practice area in the firm’s Naples office. She possesses significant knowledge of courtroom process and procedure, as well as motions, deposition, and trial practice. This experience allows her to guide and assist her clients through all stages of litigation. Prior to joining Hahn Loeser, Brown served for 13 years as an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit in Florida. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law in 2007, where she was Senior Managing Editor, Tulane Environmental Law Journal and a Student Attorney for the Tulane Criminal Law Clinic. Brown received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Florida State University in 2004. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Bridgett has joined the Cleveland office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice area. Bridgett received her J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University in 2020, where she was on the Dean’s List; a Hugo Grotius International Law Fellow; a member of the Ault Mock Trial Team; Executive Board Member, Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine, where she served as Associate Notes Editor (2018 -2019) and Executive Articles Editor (2019 – 2020). She was also honored with the Order of Barristers for excellence in advocacy. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Kent State University in 2017. She is admitted to practice in Ohio.

Hamilton has also joined the Cleveland office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice area. Hamilton received her J.D., cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2020, where she served as a Notes and Comments Editor for Wake Forest Law Review, was a member of the National Moot Court and Trial Bar Teams, served as an Academic Engagement Program group leader, and received the Dean Suzanne Reynolds Award for the Highest Grade in Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2017 where she was Phi Beta Kappa, Academic All American and Team Captain of the Women’s Golf Team. She is admitted to practice in Ohio.

Mardula has joined the Chicago office as a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property area.  He works on a wide range of matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret enforcement and procurement.  Having a background in engineering and construction management, Mardula brings a unique perspective to clients’ legal challenges. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 2020, where he was a Ruth Whitehead Whaley Scholar, Member of the Urban Law Journal, and Legal Intern for the Samuelson-Glushko Intellectual Property and Information Law Clinic. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University in 2015. Mardula is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a United States & Trademark Office, Patent Agent.

Shivnani is an associate in the Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice area. She works on complex commercial contract, business, real estate, and construction disputes. She handles cases at all stages of litigation, including engaging and managing discovery, drafting pleadings, and researching and drafting dispositive motions and briefs. Shivnani received her J.D., cum laude,  from University of Notre Dame Law School in 2020, where she was a Senior Articles Editor of the Journal of International & Comparative Law and an Oralist for the Vis Moot Court Team. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Wayne State University in 2014, where she on the Dean’s List and an Oakland Community College, Economics Supplemental Instructor. Shivnani is admitted to practice in Illinois.
