On November 4, Hahn Loeser Partner Aaron S. Evenchik testified in relation to Ohio Senate Bill 262, which would require standard form construction contracts to clearly disclose any deviations and revisions. Aaron’s deep experience in construction law earned him an invitation to speak at the Ohio Statehouse. Evenchik regularly assists respected industry groups including the Construction Employers Association (CEA), Ohio Contractors Association (OCA), and Ohio Homebuilders Association.
In his testimony, Evenchik emphasized how the bill would help reduce claims, provide clarity on changes, and prevent “hiding the ball” type games —helping all parties avoid hidden changes and costly misunderstandings. He is advocate for smarter, clearer contracting practices in Ohio’s construction industry.
