Columbus Business First announced that Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP attorney Bano Itayim has been selected as a 40 Under 40 honoree for 2019.
The longest-running awards program at Business First, 40 Under 40 is in its 27th year and recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who are making great strides as community leaders to shape the future of Central Ohio. The 40 Under 40 program is a highly selective annual program and the 27th class was chosen from a field of more than 225 applicants.
Itayim focuses her law practice on employment-based immigration and corporate matters. She has extensive experience advising corporations, organizations and universities in the filing of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions.
“Bano has a passion for helping the underserved, a strong work ethic, and she works extremely well with others,” said Leslie S. Johnson, Partner-in-Charge of Hahn Loeser’s Columbus office. “She is dependable, hardworking and always willing to jump in and help on various client matters and office initiatives.”
In his nomination of Bano for the award, Kenneth J. Robinson, Chair of Hahn Loeser’s Immigration Practice, shared: “as an immigrant herself, Itayim offers her clients an empathetic understanding of the difficulties of the immigration process and is dedicated to ensuring her clients understand their legal rights and obligations concerning immigration laws.”
Itayim works to unite families and helps bring others’ aspirations of achieving the American Dream to fruition. Her professional and volunteer involvements include the Columbus Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Franklin County, American Immigration Lawyers Association, Ohio Domestic Violence Network, and the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence.
