Jamie B. Schwinghamer, Esq. and Allison B. Christensen, Esq., both associates in the Naples office, are co-authors of this article discussing the landmark trust protectors decision made by the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal. This decision allows for the involvement of trust protectors, individuals appointed by the terms of the trust to carry out specific duties separate from those given to a trustee, to be used in relation to court trust documents.
