Starting Out: The Initial Client Interview, Fiduciary Responsibilities, Conflicts of Interest, and Fees (Ohio State Bar Association)

Taylor D. Carlucci

Hahn Loeser attorney Taylor Carlucci presented the professional conduct CLE hour “Starting Out: The Initial Client Interview, Fiduciary Responsibilities, Conflicts of Interest, and Fees,” during the Ohio State Bar Association‘s full day webinar – Basics of Estate Administration. In her New Lawyer Training session, Taylor addressed the ethical considerations involved in conducting an initial client interview and discussing fiduciary responsibilities. She reviewed the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct, conflict checks, engagement letters, practical considerations and applications, as well as legal fees and fee schedules.

Later in the day, Taylor joined an “Ask the Experts” Q&A panel to close out the program. The OSBA CLE was designed for attorneys new to probate estate administration while also serving as a helpful refresher for experienced practitioners, covering topics ranging from opening and closing an estate to types of probate administration, probate inventories, and non-probate assets.
