Hahn Loeser Partner Christopher Blake served as a panelist for “AI, Billing and the Future of Legal Work,” during the Alliott Global Alliance‘s three-day regional conference in Milan, Italy.
Joining Luitzen van der Sluis (DVDW), Majken Korsgaard (GALST Advokataktieselskab) and Giacomo Bossa (Barakat + Bossa), Chris and the panel examined one of the legal industry’s most pressing questions: as AI reshapes how legal work is performed, how should firms rethink value, pricing and talent? The discussion highlighted the significant changes underway across the profession, from billing models and profitability to governance, client expectations and the training of junior lawyers. The panel also addressed talent development, asking how the next generation of lawyers will build judgment, negotiation skills and commercial awareness if AI takes over much of the traditional “first draft” work.
Chris currently serves as Alliott Global Alliance North America Region Chair and has been a member of AGA’s North American and Worldwide Advisory Committees since 2016.
