Eugene E. Endress is an associate in Hahn Loeser’s Chicago office, focusing his practice on commercial litigation, including breach of contract, fraud, business torts, trade secret, consumer class action, antitrust, intellectual property, and other matters. He has substantial experience with all phases of civil litigation in both state and federal court, including pleadings, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, trial practice, and appeals. Gene also has substantial experience in mediation and arbitration, and in counseling and advising clients regarding potential litigation matters. He has represented clients in the commercial banking, real estate finance, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, furniture, fashion, technology, software, telecommunications, and media/entertainment industries.
Gene was a 2016 and 2017 Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star and 2016 Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Pro Bono Honoree. Before practicing as an attorney he served as a law clerk in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. In law school, Gene served on the Executive Board of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and participated in the Vanderbilt Appellate Litigation Clinic.
