Minh Hieu Vu

Minh Hieu Vu is an associate in Hahn Loeser’s Litigation Practice Area in San Diego. Her practice spans commercial litigation, consumer class actions, wage and hour matters under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), eminent domain, and trust and estate litigation. She has represented clients across a range of industries, including utilities, consumer products, financial services, and manufacturing.

Minh Hieu has significant experience defending complex class actions and other high-stakes business disputes, including a highly technical putative class action involving multiple California consumer protection statutes. She also brings valuable courtroom experience, having served as a key member of trial teams and delivered closing remarks at trial. Her litigation practice reflects a strong command of trial advocacy, from case strategy, motion practice, and trial preparation through in-court presentation and appellate strategy.

Minh Hieu began her legal career through the highly selective United States Attorney General’s Honors Program. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where her peers elected her Editor-in-Chief of the San Diego Law Review. She further developed her litigation foundation as a judicial extern to two federal district court judges on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Minh Hieu also has clerkship experience with the California Department of Justice, the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, and boutique litigation firms in San Diego. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
