Gillian has successfully represented clients before trial and appellate courts, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Labor, and Illinois Department of Employment Security.

Before Hahn Loeser, Gillian was a senior associate at Golan, Christie, Taglia, LLP, an associate at Baker & Hostetler LLP, and a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Lesley Wells.  She holds a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she graduated Order of the Coif, Order of the Barristers, and cum laude, and a B.A., cum laude, from Miami University in Political Science.
