In this timely program, our Immigration Team addressed some of the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on employment-related immigration. We discussed the President’s promised Executive Order seeking to suspend legal immigration in the United States. We also reviewed a possible timeline for any future enforcement of the Executive Order, and addressed how to justify employment-based immigration when U.S. unemployment levels are so high.
