Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Minh Hieu Vu (Minnie) has joined the firm’s San Diego office as a litigation associate. Minnie represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters, including commercial litigation, consumer class actions and wage and hour matters under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). She has represented clients across industries including utilities, consumer products, financial services, and manufacturing.
“Minnie’s experience handling complex litigation across industries, coupled with her work on class actions and trial teams, makes her a strong addition to our San Diego office,” said San Diego Partner-in-Charge Jim Heffner. “Her ability to navigate consumer protection claims, business disputes, and trial strategy will be a tremendous asset to our clients.”
Minnie has significant experience defending complex class actions and other high-stakes business disputes, including a highly technical putative class action involving multiple California consumer protection statutes. She brings courtroom experience, having served as a key member of trial teams and delivering closing remarks. She began her legal career through the U.S. Attorney General’s Honors Program, later serving as an attorney advisor with the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review. She completed externships with two federal district court judges and clerkships with the California Department of Justice, the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, and boutique litigation firms in San Diego.
Minnie earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2022 and was elected Editor-in-Chief of the San Diego Law Review. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California San Diego.
