Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to welcome associate Kathleen J. Mooney to the firm’s Chicago office. Mooney joins the Litigation Practice Area and will focus her practice commercial and construction litigation and arbitration.
Mooney counsels construction industry clients through the resolution of disputes arising out of design and construction projects, including breach of contract matters. She drafts motions for summary judgment and coordinates answers to complaints, witness statements, discovery responses and various pleadings. Mooney is familiar with a range of research software and best practices and leverages these skills in managing her clients’ litigation matters.
“We are thrilled to add Katie to the practice area,” said Rob Remington, co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice Area and Chair of the firm’s Construction Team. “She adds depth to our team, and I am confident she will be an asset to the group, our firm and our clients.”
Before joining the firm, Mooney served as an associate at Stein Ray LLP and was a contract associate at Glen Dunn & Associates, Ltd.
Mooney received her J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Law and earned her B.A. from the University of Arizona. Mooney also received her Paralegal Certificate, with honors. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
