Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that Naples attorney John J. Cunniff was recently presented with a ceremonial copy of the Florida Trademark Act, passed during the most recent legislative session and signed into law by the governor. The revisions to the Florida Trademark Statutes provide for a more streamlined application process for state trademark registrations and allow for the Florida classification system to be updated more quickly as national and international classification systems evolve.

Ceremonial copies, signed by the governor and legislative leaders, are provided to those who made significant contributions to passage of the legislation. A registered patent attorney and certified by the Florida Bar as a Specialist in Intellectual Property Law, Cunniff continues Hahn Loeser’s tradition of leadership in IP by serving as the current Chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Florida Bar Business Law Section. Hahn Loeser partner Jeanne Seewald is a past Chair of the Intellectual Property Committee and is also a certified specialist in Intellectual Property Law.
