Hahn Loeser continued its tradition of successfully defending museums’ rights after helping the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum earn a dismissal in a recent copyright lawsuiton fair use grounds. Partner Nathan B. Webb led a Hahn Loeser team comprised of Intellectual Property, Art Law, and Litigation attorneys and professionals from both the Cleveland and Chicago offices in a year-long effort.
The initial lawsuit was filed in October of 2024, and the case was dismissed in November of 2025. Hahn Loeser’s team received valuable support from Stephen J. Knerly Jr., Sherry L. Rollo, Jaqueline Meese-Martinez, Katie L. Steiner, Ethan J. Peters and Patrick Mardula.
