Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP Participating in 18-Month Midsize Mansfield Rule Certification Process

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP recently announced its participation in Diversity Lab’s Midsize Mansfield Rule certification program. The 18-month process, which began this month, is designed to boost diversity, equity and inclusion in leadership through hiring, promotion and transition activities.

“The goal of the Mansfield Rule is to boost the representation of historically underrepresented lawyers in the group of candidates law firms consider for hiring, promotion and leadership,” remarked E. Sean Medina, Chair of Hahn Loeser’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. “With the support and resources of Diversity Lab, we can learn and implement best practices, and more effectively track our efforts and results.”

Hahn Loeser is among more than 70 firms participating in this second cohort for Diversity Lab’s Midsize Mansfield Rule certification process. Mansfield Rule Certification measures how law firms affirmatively consider women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities and senior lateral positions.

“Our participation in the Mansfield Rule certification process demonstrates our Firm’s longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion,” said Stanley R. Gorom III, Hahn Loeser’s CEO and Managing Partner.  “Through our collaboration, and the accountability and structure within this program, we continue to demonstrate core values of the firm.”

The certification period runs until March 14, 2023.  Firms who successfully complete the program will be “Mansfield Certified.”
