Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce the recent addition of Christopher S. Baxter, who the firm’s Columbus office as an Of Counsel.
Baxter spent the last five years as a litigation attorney at a large firm in Columbus, focusing on commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, restructuring, advising financially distressed businesses, and receiverships. Prior to entering private practice in 2017, Baxter served for four years as law clerk to Hon. Charles M. Caldwell (Ret.) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio. In each of the last three years, Baxter was recognized in Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency Reorganization Law.

Baxter is admitted to practice in the state of Ohio and the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Ohio and Southern District of Indiana. He is also admitted in United States Bankruptcy Court in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio as well as the Southern District of Indiana.
A member of the Columbus Bar Association, Baxter earned his J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2010. He earned a B.S. from Youngstown State University in 2003, majoring in criminal justice with a minor in political science.
