Every project has a lifecycle of emotions. In the beginning, a project is typically filled with ambition, hope, eagerness and excitement. The start presents endless opportunities for it to become the best project yet. As the project progresses and the day-to-day grind takes over, some of the excitement wanes. And if the project experiences difficulties, frustrations can mount. But as the project nears the finish line and the light at the end of the tunnel brightens, hope and eagerness typically reappear, and the ambition to finish becomes tangible.
