Primary Practices

Patrick Mardula is an associate in Hahn Loeser’s Chicago office and is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property area.  Patrick works on a wide range of matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret enforcement and procurement.  Having a background in engineering and construction management, Patrick brings a unique perspective to clients’ legal challenges.

Patrick’s experience includes research, drafting, and litigation support for patent and trademark actions in U.S. Courts.  Patrick also has transactional experience in drafting patent applications, responding to patent and trademark office actions, and researching USPTO procedures.

Prior to joining Hahn Loeser, Patrick spent two years as an assistant engineer with Turner Construction in Chicago, working on the construction of a 500,000 sq-ft hospital in Lake Forest, Illinois. He also spent a year as an engineer for Hinsdale Engineering.
