Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Eric J. Becker as an associate in the Litigation Practice Area in the firm’s Columbus office.

“We are extremely fortunate to expand our expertise with the addition of Eric,” said Leslie S. Johnson, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Columbus office. “His background makes him a perfect fit for our firm and positions us to continue to serve our clients’ needs well into the future.”

Becker will focus his practice on complex commercial litigation counseling clients in white-collar criminal matters, government enforcement actions and internal investigations. He engages in all aspects of the dispute resolution process, including settlement negotiation, pleading preparation, written discovery, electronic discovery, motion practice and appellate practice.

Becker also advises both public and private organizations through high-profile investigations and enforcement matters. His experience includes monitoring the Foreign Corrupt Practices ACT (FCPA) Compliance Program of a large, multinational corporation in the oil and gas industry and advising the Monitor of a North American automaker through regular compliance meetings with the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Before arriving at Hahn Loeser, Becker spent seven years as an associate with Squire Patton Boggs and one year as a staff attorney with BakerHostelter LLP. Becker received his J.D., cum laude, from Cleveland State University and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Muskingum College.
