Seven Columbus attorneys from Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP have been named to the Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists in the 2016 edition of Ohio Super Lawyers magazine. Douglas J. Suter (Business Litigation, Employment & Labor, Personal Injury – General: Plaintiff Lawyer) made the Top 100 Ohio Super Lawyer list and the Top 50 Columbus Super Lawyer list. The partners selected to the list of Super Lawyers are: Marc J. Kessler (Business Litigation, Environmental Litigation, Entertainment & Sports Lawyer) and Christopher T. O’Shaughnessy (Construction Litigation: Business, Business Litigation, Real Estate: Business Lawyer). The associates selected to the list of Rising Stars are: A. J. Hensel (Civil Litigation: Defense, Business Litigation, Personal Injury – General: Plaintiff Lawyer). Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are selected using peer nominations and evaluations in combination with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The final published list of Super Lawyers represents no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state, and the list of Rising Stars (attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less) represents no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state.
