Biography

Douglas C. Carlson focuses his practice in taxation and employee benefits, nonprofit organizations, business, estate planning and probate law. Doug is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio and was formerly a Supervising Tax Specialist with Coopers & Lybrand. He has significant experience in corporate, individual and estate tax areas with primary emphasis on transactional planning, including acquisitions and dispositions, liquidations, reorganizations and limited partnership syndications. He emphasizes his corporate work on privately held corporations, including incorporations, and works in the planning and administration of estates with particular emphasis on family business planning in connection with control of privately held corporate businesses.
