Biography

Amanda is admitted to practice in Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Federal Circuits, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

A partner with the firm, she focuses her practice in patent and trademark law. Amanda's intellectual property and technology experience includes counseling related to the protection of intellectual property through patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Her trademark experience includes performing U.S. and international clearance searches for trademarks, rendering of legal opinions relating to trademark registrability and infringement, procurement of trademark registrations worldwide, including preparation and prosecution of trademark applications; design and implementation of worldwide trademark watch and enforcement strategies, including foreign trademark opposition and litigation proceedings; management and enforcement of domain name portfolios.

Amanda is also experienced in intellectual property litigation. She has handled the defense and prosecution of trademark and patent claims in federal and state courts throughout the United States, defense and prosecution of trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, defense and prosecution of domain name disputes pursuant to the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
